Madhya Pradesh pavilion showcases awe-inspiring spiritual heritage and remarkable craftsmanship at Bharat Parv 2025

In New Delhi, the nation’s capital, Bharat Parv 2025 will unfold from January 26 to 31 at the iconic Red Fort premises. Among the many attractions, Madhya Pradesh’s remarkable pavilion promises to stand out as a key highlight of this six-day cultural celebration, organized by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.

Shri Sheo Shekhar Shukla, Principal Secretary Tourism, Culture and Religious Trusts & Endowments Department and Managing Director Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, said
“Bharat Parv is a grand celebration of India’s cultural diversity, and Madhya Pradesh is proud to be a key participant. Through our pavilion, we aim to offer a deep and authentic experience of our state’s heritage, culture, and tourism potential.”

The Madhya Pradesh pavilion will beautifully encapsulate the state’s deep spirituality, vibrant culture, and artisanal excellence. An information center will spotlight Madhya Pradesh’s iconic spiritual destinations, including the revered Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga in Ujjain, the Omkareshwar Temple, and the serene Sanchi Stupa, offering visitors a glimpse into its profound spiritual heritage. The pavilion will also feature GI-tagged products and One District One Product specialties, showcasing the craftsmanship that reflects the state’s rich cultural and spiritual identity.

Enhancing the experience, live cultural performances by the acclaimed Janki Band will bring the folk traditions of Madhya Pradesh to life. A food court serving the state’s authentic local delicacies, such as poha-jalebi, Gwalior ki Bedai Poori, Morena ki Gazak, Indori Kees Kachori, and more, will offer both sales and live kitchen demonstrations. Iconic dishes like Garadu Chaat and Khopra Patties will be prepared live on the 30th, adding to the culinary allure.

A dedicated handicraft and handloom stall will exhibit Madhya Pradesh’s artistic heritage, featuring Gond paintings, Zari Zardozi, Batik, Bell metal artifacts, and exquisite weaves such as Chanderi and Maheshwari. Visitors will have the chance to take home a piece of Madhya Pradesh’s artistic legacy, making this pavilion a true celebration of the state’s cultural brilliance.
